Art Reflection - 848 Words

I’ve always been a huge fan of art class, and I have never despised a day of art class. I think of art class as a way to express creative freedom, discovering your unique art style, and to be with some of the most hard-working and encouraging people Ive ever met, even including the teacher. Art is so very important to me and I dont know what Id be doing right now if it werent for the art. Ive created a bunch of art to help deal with a lot of things. Mainly saying that I love art. The first thing that is so amazing to me is being able to create art freely and passionately, Creative Freedom. Creative freedom is so amazing to me because of the ideas that may come up will come out as beautiful art in the end. I dont think that†¦show more content†¦It’s like a picture book, telling a story with only what the eye sees, not reading. I want to be able to develop what I think is suited for me and not what the teacher/ administrator tells me to. I want to be able to draw like I want to and not like everyone else. I dont know why they decide to put students in a classical art box and tell you to draw it, but I dont like being told what to draw and how to draw it because that is limiting freedom to be able to create art that the person likes. In my art class she would encourage me to draw in my own style as well and developing my technical and physical skills (Body anatomy and Form.). I always like it when there is an art project that I can express my own style. That is why I think style is very important. The people in my art class were wild, but very sweet and encouraging toward me. I also very much enjoy the people and peers I met in art class. I remember the people in my art class would always be friendly towards me and they would tell me I was doing a good job. They would always ask me to draw them things, and that made me happy to see that people like my art enough to want a piece of art from me. My teacher would always tell me that I was doin g a great job while she would give me tips and advice to improve. My peers were very fun to be with ( but some exceptions were made because I didnt enjoy some of them.) and one of them I am still very close with.
